NaNoWriMo Completed / tweaking my process.

52,367 words and counting.

Yesterday I tried stacking to AI grammar checkers and was pleased with the result. My new math is Dictation+MS Editor+Grammarly = Yay.

Editor is part of Office 365, and while it is not as good as Grammarly, it has some strengths. It fits into Word nicely and is good at quickly fixing simple grammar errors quickly. It is configurable through Word. For example you can tell it to catch or ignore oxford coma, etc. (I highly recommend setting default options in Word.) The price is right if you already have a subscription to Office.

I use the cloud based Grammarly app. There is a plugin for Word and it is good, but I find uploading docx files into the app better for scanning big documents. As a bonus the Grammarly app helps if you don’t use Word. You can save files from LibreOffice in doc format them and then import into Grammarly.

Grammarly is also very customizable. I would encourage users to explore the options.
